Description:
Apigenin is a bioflavonoid compound found in a wide variety of plants and herbs, with both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. It’s very abundant in chamomile tea and exerts anxiety-reducing effects by acting on the GABA receptors. Apigenin also promotes detoxification and the production of endogenous antioxidants like superoxide dismutase (SOD), through the NRF2 pathway.
